Since 2005, we have been working at the grassroots to bridge educational and livelihood gaps in rural Telangana.
Our journey since 2005
Sri Knowledge Educational Society was founded in 2005 by a group of educators and social workers who witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of educational deprivation in rural communities of Telangana.
What began as a small literacy centre in Medak District has grown into a full-fledged organisation running 12 active programs across 48 villages, touching over 18,000 lives with education, skill training, and livelihood support.
Our work is guided by the conviction that education is not a privilege — it is a fundamental right that every person deserves, regardless of their economic background or geography.
To provide quality education, vocational training, and community development services to marginalised populations, enabling them to lead dignified and self-sufficient lives.
An India where every individual, regardless of geography or socioeconomic status, has equal access to education, knowledge, and livelihood opportunities.
Integrity, Inclusivity, Empathy, Community Ownership, Transparency. We believe change must come from within communities, not be imposed upon them.
